Ryanair Hand Luggage Allowance – Dimensions and Weight Limits

Ryanair allows only one item of hand luggage into the aircraft cabin per passenger, the absolute maximum dimensions are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm and this includes wheels, handles and straps. The bag must fit comfortably within the hand luggage guage found at check in and the maximum weight permitted is 10kg.

Handbags, camera bags, laptops and shop purchases are classed as a piece of hand luggage and must be carried within the one piece of permitted hand luggage that Ryanair allows.

If your hand baggage is over size it will be refused and will be placed in the hold, a charge of £50 will be made.
